Individualized Tutoring
Elementary, middle, and high school students diagnosed with a learning disability or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may need additional help to acquire learning techniques and to transfer those skills to the classroom so they may become independent learners.
St. Louis LDA offers one-on-one tutoring programs during both the academic year and during the summer for students who need to learn strategies and compensatory skills in order to be successful in a traditional classroom. Individually designed programs focus on remediating a child’s skills; however, reinforcement of daily lessons and pre-teaching of new material is also included. Our tutoring staff are all certified special educators who are matched with students based on your child’s specific strengths and weaknesses.
Tutors work one-on-one
with your student for 50 minutes, two times per week - either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. There is a standard fee for each session, all of which are held at our office.
For more information or to request a tutoring contract for the Fall or Summer session(s), call our office at
